Switch to expanded segment mode

An expanded segment is composed by concatenating one or more segments so that the resulting unit contains at least one whole sentence. A normal segment, on the other hand, can be a fragment of a sentence.

Expanded segments are used by default in TCSE v12.0.0, as they provide more natural, complete context for each search result.

To switch between modes, check or uncheck Use Expanded Segments before making a new search.
